Positive attitude: Fill yourself with positive things

“Just be positive” or “look on the bright side!”

Positive thinking isn’t magic and it won’t make all of your problems disappear. What it will do is make problems seem more manageable and help you approach hardships in a more positive and productive way.

You can learn to find the bright side and stay positive, avoiding negativity in your life, and going about the process of improving yourself for the better.

“The most helpful definition of being positive is having hope and confidence in one’s ability to handle what’s tough, along with remembering that nothing is all negative all the time,”

Proven benefits of thinking positively include:

·         better quality of life

·         higher energy levels

·         better psychological and physical health

·         faster recovery from injury or illness

·         fewer colds

·         lower rates of depression

·         better stress management and coping skills

·         Better cardiovascular health

·         Reduced risk of death from cancer, respiratory conditions, and infections

·         longer life span

The mental benefits may include:

·        More creativity

·        Greater problem-solving skill

·        Clearer thinking

·        Better mood

·        Better coping skills

·        Less depression

Start every day on a positive note

Create a ritual in which you start off each day with something uplifting and positive. Here are a few ideas:

§  Tell yourself that it’s going to be a great day or any other positive affirmation.
§  Listen to a happy and positive song or playlist.
§  Share some positivity by giving a compliment or doing something nice for someone.

First, Nix the Negative

Negative thoughts get inside your head, and they whirl around like a hamster on a wheel. Negative thinking can ravage your body, cloud your mind and deplete your spirit. Negativity — left unchecked — can ruin your life.

First, begin to recognize your negative thought patterns. What is your inner critic saying to you? Do you think like this?

All or nothing thinking. If you can’t do something to perfection, do you feel that you have failed or won’t even try to do it?

Overgeneralizations. One thing goes wrong and everything is wrong.

Focusing on the one negative. event in an otherwise enjoyable experience. Unable to accept a compliment or praise, preferring to respond with “it was nothing” or “not a big deal.”

Jumping to conclusions. Before getting all the facts, you become a fortune teller and automatically predict a negative outcome.

Magnification or minimization. Exaggerations of problems or mistakes—catastrophizing or minimizing things that might make you feel good.

Making “should” statements. Your expectations are rigid and the rules set around what “should” be done are not realistic and you feel guilty when you do not meet those rules.

Personalization. You blame yourself for everything that goes wrong.

Be a critical thinker, not a critical person. Practice redirecting critical thoughts by examining the situation from multiple angles and gaining perspective. How can I choose to think about this? What is the next possible action that will help me? What actually went well? What am I looking forward to?

You won’t be able to undo years of pessimism and negative thoughts overnight, but with some practice, you can learn how to approach things with a more positive outlook.

Recap

There are many different types of cognitive distortions that contribute to negative thinking. Learning more about these distortions and remembering that thoughts are not facts may help lessen the power of these negative thinking patterns.

Luckily, positive thinking is a skill that anyone can learn. Here are few tips to train yourself to think positively.

1. Remember to be grateful

The value of the law of attraction

Knowing what you want:

The Law of Attraction is designed with 3 Laws - attracting, creating and allowing.

I think one of the hardest aspects to leveraging the law of attraction is knowing what you want. It seems like that should be obvious, but admit it, half of the time you really don’t know what the hell you want.

One thing I have realized we are so busy with our daily activities we don’t even have time for ourselves. We are so much busy with work, playing games, drinking, partying, family responsibility, cooking food, shopping, spending time on mobile, chit chat etc... Most of us say we don’t have time. By saying this we have programmed our sub conscious mind. Once our mind says we don’t have time, so we will never have time.

Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher, once said: "Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny."

According to the Law of Attraction and Quantum Physics, everything in our universe has a frequency. When our frequencies are aligned with the frequency of our desires, manifestation happens.

“Thanks to the contribution of Albert Einstein’s famous equation, E = mc2, we now understand that matter and energy are inseparable, and that energy is the basis of everything in our tangible universe,” “Everything that manifests in the physical world does so by a process of resonant energies being drawn together.”

The Law of Attraction is one of life’s biggest mysteries. Very few people are fully aware of how much of an impact the Law of Attraction has on their day-to-day life.

There are 12 Universal laws:

The 12 intrinsic, unchanging laws of our universe work in synergy as guiding principles. No single law can defy another.

Here’s an example: the Law of Resonance works hand in hand with the Law of Attraction. It states that when the vibration of a thing is projected, it will attract energies of the same resonance.

However, if the energy vibrations aren’t at the same frequency, then one will prevail over the other.

Meaning, if you’re working on manifesting abundance but, on a subconscious level, you’re wired around scarcity and fears, then you will keep attracting scarcity and fears.

So, because the laws of the universe work as a collective for the betterment of your life, don’t expect to be able to manifest floating away on a magical parrot-headed umbrella whenever there’s a shift in the wind. (Check out lucid dreaming if you want to do that.) None of us are Mary Poppins, after all, no matter how many spoonful’s of sugar we take.

Free will

Everything in this universe has free will. In other words, your desires and manifestations must follow this principle. You can master the Law of Attraction and attract whatever you wish for, but if it violates somebody’s free will, it will not serve you well.

12 Universal laws of Nature:

1.   The Law of Divine Oneness

2.   The Law of Vibration

3.   The Law of Action

4.   The Law of Correspondence

5.   The Law of Cause and Effect

6.   The Law of Compensation

7.   The Law of Attraction

8.   The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

9.   The Law of Relativity

10.  The Law of Polarity

11.  The Law of Rhythm

12.  The Law of Gender

“By believing that we’ve already achieved [our desires], we put a matching frequency and vibration out into the universe that will, in turn, attract it to us.”

The law of attraction argues that positive thoughts and actions reap positive rewards and vice versa for negative ones.

Your thoughts become things! Say this over to yourself and let it seep into your consciousness and your awareness. Your Thoughts become things!

Thoughts are magnetic, and thoughts have a frequency. As you think, those thoughts are sent out into the Universe, and they magnetically attract all like things that are on the same frequency. Everything sent out returns to the source. And that source is you.

See yourself living in abundance and you will attract it. It works every time, with every person.

The law of attraction is a law of nature. It is impersonal and it does not see good things or bad things. It is receiving your thoughts and reflecting back to you those thoughts as your life experience. The law of attraction simply gives you whatever it is you are thinking about.

Every moment of every day, you are actively creating your reality. With every thought, either consciously or subconsciously, you are creating your future. And when you know how to harness the power of the Law of Attraction in your life, you can direct your thoughts and actions in a way that allows you to effortlessly attract what you want.

How to honor your emotions while using the law of attraction

There are a number of ways you can honor your true feelings while using the law of attraction. They include:

  • actively feeling your feelings
  • practicing gratitude
  • practicing compassion
  • consciously shifting your energy
  • Visualize your goals
  • Look for the positives in a situation
  • Learn how to identify negative thinking
  • Use positive affirmations
  • Reframe negative events in a more positive way

In order for beliefs to affect behavior, it is important to also have things such as:

v Goals

v Mindfulness

v Commitment

v Motivation

v Timelines

v Challenges

v Support

Positive thinking suggest it is linked to the following benefits:

Love, money, health, and happiness. We all want them, but we don’t all have them. Partially, we cannot be blamed for everything that happens to us. But there is also a part that is our own responsibility. Through understanding how the law of attraction can help you receive these things, you will definitely increase your chances to getting what you dream of.

To attract iron, you must become a magnet, to attract bees, you need to become a flower. There is no room for artificiality. Genuinely be the magnet, and you will attract naturally. The Law of Attraction can be used to manifest material wealth and abundance. However, it is important to align with positive intentions and values, rather than solely focusing on material gain.

I have compiled a list of positive affirmations or law of attraction mantras that you can use today.

Make sure you repeat them twice daily and give them time to be received by your mind.
