THE POWER OF WILLPOWER

Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. ...

Willpower is the ability to resist short-term gratification in pursuit of long-term goals or objectives. And the energy that stimulates this is really the motivational force called willpower.

Willpower has been termed ‘the greatest human strength’, and rightly so…as it is the factor behind even single noteworthy human achievement down the centuries! With willpower, the impossible can be made possible…without this all-important quality, everything you have worked for can be lost in an instant. By harnessing your willpower, and exercising self-control and practical wisdom, you can work toward your personal and professional goals and truly enjoy the quality of life that you deserve.

The willpower response is a reaction to an internal conflict.

The prefrontal cortex (that section of the brain right behind your forehead) is the part that helps us with things like decision-making and regulating our behavior. Self-control, or willpower, falls under this heading, and thus is taken care of in this part of the brain.

Sleep deprivation (even just getting less than six hours a night) is a kind of chronic stress that impairs how the body and brain use energy. The prefrontal cortex is especially hard hit and it loses control over the regions of the brain that create cravings and the stress response.

Will power be power pack kept for backup in emergency need.

Why WILL POWER be needed?

There are many things in life which we want to achieve?

Like Money, Fame, happiness etc. etc.

Everyone has different objectives/ambitions, however when someone decides to achieve anything in life.

Whatever we start in our life, whatever we need to achieve in our life, we need to understand nothing is FREE.

Keep this line in mind always.

“THERE ARE NO FREE LUNCHES”

Everything we get, needs hardwork, consistency, determination only ... and WILL POWER.

Three different aspects of willpower:

“I won’t” power the ability to resist temptations.

“I will” power the ability to do what needs to be done.

“I want” power the awareness of one’s long-term goals and desires.

Willpower is about harnessing these three powers of I will, I won’t, and I want in order to achieve your goals and stay out of trouble.

So, to grow our WILL POWER do following things:

1.                  Read positive thoughts everyday

2.                  Surround yourself with positive minded, growth minded people.

3.                  Avoid toxic peoples or the negative peoples.

4.                  say positive things for self, Self-Affirmations are very powerful.

5.                  Learn from mentors.

6.                  Use imagination to relax your mind.

7.                  Don't put yourself in temptation's way, or if you do, have a plan.

8.                  Keep finding a passion. Life keeps changing and so does your passion.

9.                  Give time to your hobbies.

10.             Find out your creativity and be creative.

11.             Play around and be happy.

12.             Spend time in nature.

13.             Plan your actions and also plan your priority.

14.             Live in present. Repeatlive in present.

15.             Be aware and beware.

16.             Don’t give up.

17.             Reboot Your Mind, Reboot your Life Project.

There is only one life to live and there is no way to wind back the clock to relive your life.

Shockingly, will-power is like a muscle.

Muscle gets stronger with exercise

Muscles can be overwhelmed, leaving them weak until they have the change to recover.

Will power be exactly similar to this. The more you use it the more it depletes.

I believe, the best investment you can make to improve your willpower.

We expect to be different/better us tomorrow with more willpower and more free time. The truth is if we don't want to do it now, we probably won't want to do it later.
