A NANO SECOND BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH

Survival situations often bring out the very best and worst traits in people. Throughout human history, there are thousands of documented events confirming this.

So where morals and survival do intersects?

The whole point of survival and being prepared is to have the mindset, knowledge, and resources to make it through hard times.

They had a very strong internal locus of control. Internal locus of control simply means that I will not blame the external circumstances for what is there in my life; I will take responsibility for what is happening in my life. Another Day, another Challenge, another Learning.

"Stars don't shine without darkness" Life’s too short to hold grudges against people we love.

Vivacity high-spiritedness - exuberant liveliness

Life is delicate, fragile, and short. There’s so much to learn and so much we’ll never know. Embrace the insanity.

A NANO SECOND BETWEEN LIFE & DEATH

Life is a beginning, Death is an end.

We celebrate life.
We mourn on death.
We love life.
We hate death.

We always ponder over how should we live?
We never ponder over how should we die?

Death is truth, which no one wants to accept. One thing that is sure .There is no
escape.

Life is journey, Death is destination.

Life happens once, and so does death, but if you don't live your life the way you want to, you can die many times while pretending to live.

Go out live your life, experience things, and the day you will die, you will know the difference between life and death.

Death and life has a thin line difference "ACCEPTANCE"

Anyone who survives a traumatic experience will never be the same again. Some survivors remain emotionally wounded for life. They relive and re-experience distressing moments again and again. Many survivors recover fairly well with the help of an accommodating family and friends.

A few do more than recover, however. They heal and grow and become even better than they were before. They become transformed in ways they value highly.

Every transformational journey is unique, but the heroic survivors have two things in common. First they integrate the traumatic experience into their identity and make the experience a defining part of their life story. Second, they talk or write about it in a way that is helpful to others.

Life is a resonance of extremes

A continuous low note or a higher one can create sound but not music, because music can only be created by resonance of extreme notes...music is bliss..a reinforced frequency produced by overlapping of different sound frequencies....ans so is life.

The psycho-social equilibrium, that we commonly call as life, can only be attained by successful overlapping of its different frequencies, which are happiness, sorrow, joy, pain, loneliness, togetherness, ups and downs, thick and thin....if we stick to any one of the above frequencies, high or low, life loses its meaning. There has to be a constructive overlapping of different emotions, different reactions, different thoughts, different ideas to compose the music of life.
No person has ever born on this earth who hasn't faced any adversities of life. Each one of us have felt one or the other pain. people have seen separation from their loved ones, greatest reason being death. people have seen hunger, poverty. There are orphans. there are people without homes, unemployed, penniless. But even than life has so much for them too. even the beggars smile. they don't have homes, but they light diyas on footpaths on Diwali. They have seen every star break in night sky, but they don't make wishes, may be they've left them for us.  They know the taste of the most miraculous liquid on this earth, that is water. They know the warmth of a torn blanket on a cold winter night. They have felt the ecstasy of the morning dew, they know how to catch rainbows. And as long as they know this, life will continue to propagate because a perfect resonance has occurred between all the high and low notes.
The most beautiful music is hence produced.............

your highest dreams and wishes. But in reality, many of us struggle to feel good about ourselves. We carry around self-limiting beliefs or we get stuck in our fears that prevent us from truly going after the life that we really want.

Our minds are very good at tricking us into getting caught up worrying and stressing about the mundane routine of day to day living; but there is a way out, and there is a way to boost the energy and positivity of your life so you can feel inspired to wake up every day and live the life of your dreams.

To dive deeper into finding ways we can all live a more abundant life.

3 Daily Rituals That Will Boost Your Happiness and Change Your Life

1. Morning Ritual

10 Breath Meditation

Starting your day off with this simple ritual will help you to feel calm, centered and balanced no matter what the day throws your way. Sit on the floor comfortably or even up in bed. Place your hands in your lap and close your eyes. Take 10 deep breaths in and out.
As you breathe, try to focus your mind only on your breath. Counting the breaths can help with this. Eventually, you will find it easier to tune out the thoughts of your mind and this will help you to feel calm, relaxed and ready to start the day.

2. Afternoon Ritual

Stay Present

This ritual is perfect for helping you to stay present and in the moment. Being present means that you can really focus on what you are doing and it stops you from getting swept up into thoughts about the past or the future.
To do this ritual, either go for a short walk or simply sit at your desk. Quiet your mind and then mentally observe 9 things in your surroundings. What do you notice around you?
Doing this exercise helps you to get present in your environment and helps to relax and focus your mind. Over time doing this exercise will help you to notice the finer details and will allow you
to stay more productive and focused for the afternoon ahead.

3. Before Bed

Gratitude Journal

Feeling grateful for your life can instantly boost your feelings of happiness and can also be extremely inspirational.

“spending just a few minutes writing down things you feel grateful for at the end of every day can help to boost your energy levels and invite long lasting happiness into your life.”
“All of us have something to be grateful for, no matter how bleak life may seem.”

So, why not give these three easy, daily rituals a try and see how they can change the shape of your life.

Love Yourself, A Lot More

Self-love sounds like an easy task, but it can actually be quite the challenge! It forms the foundation of your single, most important relationship - with yourself. To love yourself is not just a self-esteem boosting piece of advice, but a prerequisite to loving the other amazing people in your life as well.
1. Stop picking yourself apart – Everyone has something they wish they could change about their body. Even if someone seems to have the perfect image, we can bet there is something they don’t like about it. Instead of picking yourself apart, look at your body as a beautiful whole, thinking of everything it does for you!
2. Realize how amazing your body really is – Our body has so many functions that happen throughout the day, but we rarely take the time to appreciate all that it does for us! Use the time that you’re taking to critique yourself and change your negative thoughts to positive ones!
3. Get in touch with reality - Most of the images you see on the internet, on TV, and in movies aren’t even real! Not only are those people going through hours of hair and makeup, they are having their photos edited and airbrushed to perfection by professionals as well. Stop comparing yourself to things you see in the media and we promise you’ll start appreciating yourself more, flaws and all!
4. Inner & outer dialogue – How we treat ourselves can impact how others treat us. Stay positive not only in your thought process, but verbally as well! Tell yourself you are worthy, beautiful, and strong. The simple act of saying positive things can instantly change your mindset and attitude!
5. Your body is a temple – Fad diets, quick-fixes and pills are the opposite of self love. Take care of the gift that has been given to you. You have one body, treat it with respect and it will return your love. You’ll not only feel better and be more positive, but loving yourself could even help inspire others to do the same! Talk about a win-win-win!

Remember the 90’s En Vogue song, with the lyrics “Free your mind, the rest will follow”?

It will. So get up and dance.

The signs of low emotional intelligence

These are the signs of low emotional intelligence

If you feel like you’re not getting ahead at work or not achieving the success you planned for, it might come down to one very important thing.

Your emotional intelligence (EQ).Someone who knows all about the importance of EQ to your success is Australian Emotional Intelligence and HR Expert, Ush Dhanak — who works with start-ups, SMEs and individuals.

“Previously, there was heavy emphasis on the importance of IQ (intelligence quotient) but emotional intelligence is increasingly regarded as the common ‘connector’ between successful people,” says Dhanak.
So, if you are displaying any of the following 10 signs, you may need to work on your own level of EQ:

1. You’re easily stressed and irritated

A strong feature of emotional intelligence is the ability to understand emotions and recognise when you are feeling them. This enables you to better control emotions and not get overly stressed. If you get easily irritated and lose your temper, without consideration of how this may affect behaviour towards others, you may want to take some steps to raise your emotional awareness, such as meditation and self-reflection.

2. You treat people rashly and unfairly
The key to improving this aspect is raising self-awareness of how you react in situations; and recognising the emotional triggers so that you can exert more control over them. Becoming more empathetic towards others will also help.

3. You are wrapped up in your own world

This is obviously problematical if you are a leader. Listening to and taking an active interest in people is very important and comes from developing empathy: we all have the power to empathise with others. It’s a case of treating others as a priority and placing ourselves in their shoes for a while.

4. You are overconfident

Emotionally intelligent people are confident and authoritative because they are comfortable in their own skin — but they do not brag, assume they know it all, or appear overconfident. The latter is often a sign of insecurity and low EQ.Work on this by increasing self-awareness and being honest with yourself: understand your strengths and weaknesses and be better prepared for situations when these will be exposed.

5. You fear change

Flexibility comes with the confidence of knowing exactly who you are and what you are capable of; many people fear the thought of change and are more adaptable, in reality, than they suspect. People with EQ embrace change and are ready for whatever is thrown at them.

6. You take failure badly

Work on your sense of resilience and you will find that you start to treat failure less as a permanent obstacle and more as a temporary opportunity to improve.

7. You get into conflicts easily

Raising your awareness and empathy towards others increases your EQ and actually makes you more thick-skinned; you are better able to read other people’s emotions, more likely to consider their feelings, better able to reach compromises, and less likely to be surprised by others. This will naturally reduce conflict.

8. You interrupt and don’t listen

People with high EQ practice their listening skills and body language, ask open questions, avoid distractions, and display a genuine interest in the other person. They don’t interrupt and are often able to ‘read’ the emotions behind the words.

9. You find fault with others easily

This is because they lack the empathy, listening skills, and awareness to appreciate the positive side of another person; they only see the negatives. People with high emotional intelligence are able to remain positive, avoid unconstructive and negative conversations about others, and surround themselves with other positive people.

10. Your relationships break down

Strong relationships need a healthy dose of emotional intelligence. So, unless you work on improving all the elements outlined in the first nine points above, it’s likely that relationship ‘problems’ will be common. Building rapport will be difficult and people may even start avoiding you.

Those with high EQ know how to build strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect and understand that, without emotional intelligence, relationships invariably suffer. "Emotional intelligence, more than any other factor, more than I.Q. or expertise, accounts for 85% to 90% of success at work … I.Q. is a threshold competence. You need it, but it doesn’t make you a star Emotional intelligence can,” Author, Warren Bennis once said.

What's Your Lucky Number

Lucky Number Meanings

It's my contention that all numbers hum a certain vibration or frequency. Therefore, all numbers have a lucky feel to them because of specific energetic patterns, vibrations and history.
Here are a few for your consideration...

Good Luck Number Meaning: OneOne:
One isn't the loneliest number, but it's certainly one of the luckiest. Number one is symbolic of beginnings, like being first in line for a "good thing." Being number one, is like being on top - it's a symbol of accomplishment and achievement. Number one is also symbolic of the sun, which is abundant in symbolism like health, wealth and security. Number one is lucky in new ventures, maintaining focus to accomplish goals and taking action.
Good Luck Number Meaning: TwoTwo:
The good luck number meaning for two is about variety. Twos tell us we have the best of both worlds at our command. Egyptians upheld the number two in various symbolic amulets and rituals to represent the two-fold path of completion (1. Knowledge and 2. Wisdom). Egyptians knew luck comes from within, and if you possess both knowledge and wisdom, you are a lucky bloke indeed. Two is also a lucky number in relationships - it signifies a strong, balanced partnership.
Good Luck Number Meaning: ThreeThree:
Threes are lucky, lucky, lucky! It's a sacred number with tons of mystical, esoteric connotations throughout every culture. Mostly, threes take the power of two forces and mix them together to make a new energetic presence. Three can be your lucky number when you use it as a point of focus - like a triad of intentions. Visualize a upright triangle. Assign admirable qualities to the parallel sides, like "patience" and "belief" then picture the base as the new energetic force made by those qualities. In this example, we could say "success" is made from the combination of patience and belief.
Good Luck Number Meaning: FourFour:
The good luck number meaning for four is grounded in a stabilizing energy. This will be your lucky number when you are dealing with matters of the home, or require security. I've had clients focus on number four energy when they are looking to buy a new house. Sound silly? If luck is what we make of it, then focusing on specific number energy is just another cool tool we can use to our benefit. The Egyptians did, and they attributed their god Horus to the power of number four - a provisional deity who also offered protection.
Good Luck Number Meaning: FiveFive:
Fives are particularly lucky in Chinese traditions where we see the five Chinese blessings: Health, Wealth, Luck, Life, Peace. Alchemists and esoteric practitioners utilize the lucky power of five-pointed stars for protection and well-balanced energies in their work. Indeed, the number five is a all-encompassing energy in matter. Five is a lucky number for physical health and protection. I also think it's rather lucky that it was David's fifth stone thrown that downed Goliath in the legendary Biblical face-off.
Good Luck Number Meaning: SixSix:
As far as good luck number meaning goes, the number six is auspicious in matters of love and relationships. This is because the number six is associated with the planet Venus who incites harmony and passion in our connections. The number six is also assigned to the Lovers card in the Tarot, which speaks to us about balanced relationships as well as open, honest communication. Consider the harmonic energy of number six for luck when engaging in new partnerships or relationships.
Good Luck Number Meaning: SevenSeven:
One of my personal favorite lucky numbers, seven is auspicious in matters of scholarly achievement. Seven is also associated with spiritual, psychic and intellectual development. It's the number of wisdom and higher reasoning. Seven is also a time-bound energy, it often signals good timing when seen in sequences. For example, if you see a series of seven in your day (on the clock, on bus tickets, license plates, room numbers, etc.) it often indicates good timing for scholarly/spiritual endeavors.
Good Luck Number Meaning: EightEight:
The verdict on number eight being a lucky number is typically up for debate in numerological societies. But, I like to think of it as a lucky number because of its cyclical nature. Turn it the numeral eight on its side, and you get a lemniscate (infinity symbol, or mobius strip). Why is this lucky? Because everything is infinite and also transient. That means what is lost shall be returned. What's distant shall eventually be nearby. With this kind of energetic malleability, eight should be the poster child for good luck number meaning because it means our luck is always changing, recycling, expanding and revolving.
Good Luck Number Meaning: NineNine:
Nine is a lucky number because of its association with the number three. And, it's a number that says "many happy returns" because of its ability to return to itself in mathematical equations. Multiply any number by nine and reduce it. You're always going to get nine. (5x9=45, Reduced:4+5=9). It's a number of integration and return to primary source. Consider the number nine when you're looking for inspiration from a lot of different directions with a goal to make a solid, unified statement.

PREVENT YOURSELF FROM EMOTIONAL SICKNESS

What chemicals released in the brain cause certain moods?
There are many neurotransmitters that induce a combination of bodily, nerve, and mental sensations that we roughly classify as emotions. However, it is not as simple as "produce x to induce y." Everything is a balance. For example, lack of serotonin, or the rapid metabolism of it, can lead to lethargy or depression, but too much of it induces serotonin syndrome which causes tremors, agitation, sweating, and other unpleasant side effects. Acetylcholine modulates learning, memory and general somatic and cognitive arousal; again, too much or too little both lead to a response we would consider negative or unpleasant.

Here's some of the most important neurotransmitters:

Acetylcholine
Dopamine
Serotonin
Epinephrine and Norepinephrine
GABA
Vasopressin
Prolactin and Oxytocin
Various other amines

An individual's brain pathways and structures help determine how these chemicals affect him in a unique way as compared to others. Some of these tendencies are present at birth, but they are shaped over time (particularly in the first two years of life and later in adolescence) by experience. So, no one chemical is responsible for one's mood; it is the interaction of the different levels of neurotransmitters, the action of the receptors they bind to, and a person's experience of interpreting and reacting to stimuli.
