How do you know if someone is
mature or not?
“Maturity is not measured by age, it’s an attitude built by
experience.”
Maturity is a key ingredient in
reaching your potential. We need to develop maturity if we want to build
healthy relationships, and learn to grab opportunities when they come. We need
maturity in order to face life’s many obstacles head on.
But like any skill, developing
maturity takes time and practice.
Maturity can be
broken down into five different parts:
Physical: age,
size, hand-eye coordination, the ability to move in different ways (walking,
running, biking), etc.
Intellectual: school smarts, on-target learning
for one’s age, etc.
Social: the ability to develop friendships,
to share, and to cooperate, etc.
