Is a life without a wish, a life at all?

What is Life?

#. Life is the unfoldment and development of a being under circumstances tending to press it down.

#. Expansion is life, contraction is death.

#. Love is life and hatred is death.

#. Strength is life, weakness is death.

Is a life without a wish, a life at all?
A life without a dream isn't a life. I think that people need a motivation and something to believe in to keep going. Whatever that motivation is, it is personal to everyone. If there is no dream (or wish), then life becomes meaningless and we tend to want to put meaning to something.

In other words, if we have nothing to look forward to (the wish), then as individuals we become more robotic. All it takes is finding something to work toward and then life becomes rewarding and fulfilling.

A life without a wish is still life, but not one that people enjoy or prefer to live.
A life without a wish, if possible, is probably the ultimate spiritual height that can be reached.
